Sometimes, the hardest thing to accept is watching someone you once loved become happy with someone else, knowing that the happiness you once dreamed of sharing with them is now being shared with someone new. You remember the little things, the conversations that made you smile, and the moments when you foolishly believed that everything would last forever. You never imagined that one day, the person who once meant so much to you would become a stranger, someone whose life you can only watch from a distance. And honestly, it hurts to realize that while you are still learning how to let go, they may have already found someone who makes them feel the way they once made you feel. Sometimes, you wonder if they ever remember you, if they ever miss the moments you shared, or if you have completely disappeared from their thoughts. But perhaps not every question needs an answer, and not every love story is meant to have a happy ending. I don't regret meeting you, and I don't regret loving you, because you once brought happiness into my life in ways I will never forget. However, I am slowly learning that loving someone doesn't mean waiting for them forever, and missing someone doesn't mean you have to return to the past.
