I don’t agree, i think big brother done it on purpose, another tactic to gain more exposure to the show as they know people will notice and make posts about it. Lots of movies do similar things, whether it be mistakes on purpose or to leave clues, as it was Halloween, this made sense to have a little spooky edit for the viewers to talk about

I still don’t get how it works because it’s not a still image of either Omar in the wide shot. Sat next to Rihanna he’s clapping and next to Lynx his leg twitches, does that mean with a composite edit you can splice in a moving image??

They would have tried it with a wide shot of him sat next to Lynx I’m sure but felt it didn’t work narratively. I would argue, this makes a lot less sense and makes people question things more vs something that people probably wouldn’t be that fussed about.

They would of been 100% better off just cutting to him talking to Lynx. I think it was more likely something cut, like you said and then they forgot they had done the wide shot and left it in by mistake.
