nail tech here!!! put a bandaid on it no nail for now, keep bandaid on for a week DO NOT MESS WITH IT ut will basically attach its self back if you leave it alone. after a week see how it is try not to do what your doing rn as in pulling it back and your nail tech should know not to put another nail on it as it can get infected and or pulled of completely what i would recommend is no artificial nails so a good month and a half on that finger but since you wedding is 17 days away i would get sticky tabs for nails (press on) and stick one to your thumb then take it off immediately after the service

cover the nail with a skin colored band-aid and then apply a press on nail on top of the bandaid!!! i’ve done this and it’s genuinely useful; ask your photographer to make your finger look more natural for photos!
