The fuel efficiency standards were complete garbage. They were the whole reason we don't have smaller trucks and other vehicles because the larger the vehicle got the more relaxed the fuel efficiency standards were. Maybe now we can actually start to bring back smaller trucks that consume less gas. 🙈

Because CAFE is not based in reality and demands unreasonable mathematically expensive at best if not impossible completely redesigns that bloat car costs/would sink car companies

People call my CR-V a “truck” sometimes. I think of it more as a Civic with a fat butt. I guess it’s technically an SUV/crossover, but it drives like a small sedan, honestly.
