Why don’t you control your own expenses first? Every summer, you spend millions on fireworks. What is the point of spending so much money on fireworks every year? How many millions do you waste on these celebrations? Instead of spending so much money, why don’t you control these unnecessary expenses? At the same time, you are treating Third-Country Nationals (TCNs) unfairly and imposing unjust rules on them. You should be ashamed of treating people this way. TCNs work hard, pay taxes, pay rent, and contribute to Malta’s economy. They deserve fairness, dignity, and equal treatment. Who gave you the right to treat people this way in Europe? If you want to introduce rules, make sure they are fair and equal for everyone.

So I don't think the population will ever decrease. Traffic which is the main complaint of people will remain the same. it's a money sucking machine scheme on the ones that have no say as they cannot vote. 1000 goes before 5 years and a new 1000 comes instead and has another 5 years, and money wise we're doing fine. Rinse and repeat. Good measure for the country but I would have started it from the new ones coming not from who's here already. Eco tax in my opinion between 3 to 5 euro was enough. You improve gradually and you higher the price accordingly. Higher costs = higher expectations from tourists. Cruise liners tax acceptable as it's a 1 time fee and very few will take notice of it. Part of the package. Personally the budget didn't affect me badly but we shouldn't reason things with the attitude of I'm alright f... you Jack. I would prefer paying 5-10c more in petrol or diesel and would avoid this chaos and hate between one way visioned people and TCN's which came here to improve their lives and automatically help the Maltese economy. We should not see these people as numbers as they are all humans with dreams like all of us here on earth.
