@qwiktwik.com: Low on space? Your C: drive hides a file about 40% the size of your RAM: hiberfil.sys. Check yours: open Command Prompt and run dir /a C:\hiberfil.sys How to delete the hibernation file on Windows 10 and 11: 1. Press Win + R, type cmd, press Ctrl + Shift + Enter (opens it as admin) 2. Type powercfg /h off 3. Press Enter 4. hiberfil.sys is gone and the space is free again Note: this turns off hibernate and Fast Startup. On a laptop you rely on hibernate? Skip it, or bring it back any time with powercfg /h on. Save this for when your drive is full, or find this tweak in QwikTwik and turn it off in one click. #windows11 #storage #windowstips #pctips #TechTips
