Aleksandar Vučić acknowledged the defeat of his political group. After that, people took to the streets to celebrate the victory. They waved Serbian flags, set off fireworks, and shouted “Victory!” The movement began with anti-corruption protests after 16 people died when the canopy of the Novi Sad railway station collapsed in November 2024. But why are there photos of the victims of Vladislav Ribnikar School? Their presence does not mean that their cases have been resolved or that justice has been served. Instead, the photos are displayed to honor and remember the victims: the students who were still children and the security guard who lost his life in the tragedy.
