@babar_creativity5.6: Throwback to one of South Africa's finest ODI rescue acts. Sometimes, the best partnerships are not built with boundaries. They are built with patience, trust, and complete control. This was one of those innings. Chasing just 183 against England at Trent Bridge looked straightforward on paper. But under overcast skies, the ball was swinging and seaming all over the place. Before South Africa could settle, they were staring at 14 for 3. Graeme Smith, Faf du Plessis and Dean Elgar were all back in the pavilion, and England had taken complete control. That was when Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers came together. There was no panic, no rush, and no reckless strokeplay. They respected the conditions, absorbed the pressure, and slowly turned the game around with perfect shot selection and outstanding running between the wickets. Amla played the anchor's role to perfection with an unbeaten 97 off 107 balls, while AB de Villiers produced a classy 75 not out from 79 deliveries. Their unbeaten 172-run partnership erased the early collapse and guided South Africa to victory with more than 15 overs to spare. It was not one of AB's explosive innings or one of Amla's hundreds. It was simply two world-class batters showing why they were among the most reliable players of their generation. Calm under pressure, technically brilliant, and always ready when their team needed them the most. One of those partnerships that deserves to be remembered just as much as the big hundreds. #AustralianCricket #CricketHistory #babar_siddique0 #بابرکریٹیوٹی #playboy🗿
