A few years ago I was living in a trailer community and frankly there was an abundance of stray cats. I counted 25 at least so I fed them dry cat food that was the best I could offer. One of the cats was pregnant she had the babies under my trailer and that happened because the momma cat felt safe. One night it was raining ☔️a lot so I lined a box 📦 inside and out with tall kitchen bags. I crawled underneath and put them inside the box along with some food for the momma cat. She and I bonded and anytime I was outside she’d always come up and rub against my leg. I took in one of the kittens when they were old enough to be on their own.

I agree but this country has given up on cats. Try finding a shelter or anything that takes stray cats. I found a kitten in the middle of the road 2 months ago. I even called the local sheriff, where can I take this kitten that I was trying to protect. they had no answer, so I said I'll just put him back where I found her. Sheriff said don't do that you can be arrested
