@els_7567: The Umbara Arc 💿 the clones worst battle trauma 🪐 #clonewars #captainrex #starwars #fyp #viral

Jekellbell :

this arc really showed off the 501st's individuality, specifically Rex. It's my hc/theory that Anakin's irregular tactics & training of Rex led to increased resistance against the inhibitor chips. Rex being able to go against Krell and let his soldiers essentially commit treason bc they didn't trust him shows Anakin's training worked, unintentionally helping him resist Order 66, even if only for 5 seconds. It would also explain why the Bad Batch resisted their chips for so long. They didn't see themselves as just any clones. They regularly broke regulation. plus their genetics but still

anya :

off topic but rex looked so good in this arc

anya :

the fact that none of them defected after this proves both how bad their brainwashing was and how much trust they had in ahsoka and anakin. bc my god i never wouldve trusted a jedi against ig i were them
