Follow these steps: 1️⃣ Turn off the cooker first. Switch off the burner controls to extinguish the flames. 2️⃣ Close the cylinder valve. Turn the cylinder valve clockwise (to the right) until it is closed. Do not force it. 3️⃣ Check that the gas is off. Ensure all burner flames are out and the cooker controls are off. ⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS - Never use a naked flame to check for gas leaks. - Do not force a stiff or damaged cylinder valve. - If you smell gas, do not operate electrical switches or light a flame. If safe to do so, shut off the gas supply. Otherwise, evacuate immediately and contact the appropriate emergency service. - Keep your gas cylinder upright in a well ventilated place.
