I voted in VA on a paper ballot. it was easy to fill in the dots, but the amount of text I was asked to read to make my selection seemed a bit burdensome. I feel like the wording could be simplified.

sugartitsmcgee2 :

Yes. I scrolled through all 107 pages in Harris county and verified every single selection. Then I printed it and verified again. Because I’m not fucking around.

Kim John Lyons :

Happened to me and my husband. We both had to go back and change it before we printed. And it was odd that it was for the same race.

Bird Falbo :

I’m in Ohio and in the 2024 presidential election, I printed it and happened to glance down. Had I not been told oh well by the vote worker I ripped it up I kept my pieces. I don’t litter. They called me by the time I got to my driveway to come back and revoke on a provisional ballot so many people have been saying that I lied about this and I do not lie and I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I’m over 50 so I know how to fucking vote for all these people who are gonna say I hit the wrong button.

Sara Sitwell 🌽|🌶️📚|🎙️ :

I checked, re-checked, and re-re-checked before finishing up

mathewelespuru1 :

what is on your finger?

Laurie Marcellus :

👏 vote!! 💙💙💙🌊🌊🌊

Kitchie1978 :

At my polling location in TX, you review in the screen, and than it prints out, review again before putting in the scanner. If TX has the same touch screen machines as in Harris Co, I'm erring on the side of operator error.

Hann Solo :

I worry about how many elderly or those who were rushed didn't catch it 🫩

BexMix1990 :

Even though we don’t have early voting in Mississippi, I saw that we’ve turned in twice the amount of absentee ballots as we had at this point in 2022. I feel like that’s a good sign for turnout on Election Day.

stevie136 :

thanks!

babymike30662 :

let's go vote

MissyMoTX :

I doubled checked on the screen and on my ballot once it printed out. always do!

StacyMarie Jewelry :

Voted yesterday in South Carolina.. made sure my selection was correct 💙💙

Solo Travel Jeff :

They must have fancier voting machines than we do in New York

Stephen :

Thank you! Happens every election and people freak TF out.

Matt Alford1823 :

ive never had that happen here in ohio, but I always check my ballot, and if something isnt working I get help.

big sawftie :

Trust the Plan :

Comparing turnout to 2018 is a much better comparison

💙 knotman 💙 :

Don’t they calibrate the machines at the beginning of every day? I live in Massachusetts, where we have paper ballots but every morning of early voting the first thing we do is test and calibrate our ADA compliant system and make sure that everything on the touchscreen is printing out correctly on the ballot.

smoke :

vlw.law :

That happened to me in Texas! I think the problem is the cleaner they use on the screen between every voter.

Art :

I really wish we had the old machines with the flippy switches and the big slot machine handle that rang a bell when the curtain shot open!

Thomas 🌈 :

Arlington VA has made early voting such an abysmal process I almost miss Rockbridge County 😭😭😭😭
