@silenthours888: my husband and i have a running joke where i send him a full report every time i go out. at the mall with sarah, tried on six pairs of jeans, bought none, guy at the pretzel stand winked at me, home by eight. he replies with a thumbs up and asks what kind of pretzel. that's it. it's playful, but there's something real underneath. when i was younger i thought sharing that much meant giving up my independence. then i dated someone who kept secrets, and i learned how much damage not knowing can do. now i see it differently. telling him stuff isn't asking permission. it's letting him into my day. he does it too, without being asked. we never fight about trust because there's nothing hidden to fight about. it's honestly the most freeing thing in the world.
