I dead ass lived in the back of my older sister’s father’s store for my fifth grade year and my “dinner” consisted of nachos and peace ice tea from the nearby gas station and if her father did pay my mom which would be whenever he decided it we would use it to get pizza, tater tots and things like that. After I moved back to NYC we started getting better financially but then I moved once more and it’s horrible out here.
