AB ROUTINE • hip dips — 20 between sets throughout my ENTIRE workout • hanging abs — 20 reps × 3–5 sets • weighted crunch machine — 25 reps × 4 sets at my max comfortable weight • balance/core work — this has helped a ton with the muscles that wrap around my core + back • pilates-esque plank work — thanks to my mom i incorporate a lot of pilates into every workout. i’m not going for high weight, i’m going for high reps: plank to shoulder taps to mountain climbers to toe taps, or literally just holding a plank (hanging work is hard lol. gloves or straps help a lot with grip) ACTIVITY • i play college basketball so cardio is pretty easy to get in • i live in ny so usually 10–15k steps a day • abs/core are worked into my normal gym days, not some insane separate routine WHAT I EAT • daily staples: greek yogurt, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, bananas + blueberries • no fried food • stay away from seed oils • probably 90% gluten free • no protein supplements — i get my protein through food • always a protein: turkey, chicken or salmon • i’m not depriving myself of what i want. i just find stores/brands that make alternatives that work for me #gym #absworkout #masc
Get the house that will give you freedom Letting go of stuff and living within our means has been one of the greatest upgrades we've ever made Three years ago, we had a choice: stay in our 3,000 sq. ft. home on start over and downgrading intentionally build a simpler life with more financial margin We bought land, downsized our family from 3,000 sq. ft. to a 1,600 sq. ft. barndominium, and have slowly been building our home one project at a time, all while staying within our means. This is our dream life. We're slowly building it together Social media often makes it seem like success is the bigger house, the luxury finishes, while makit and the picture-perfect life. Those things are easier to measure from the outside. They're the external things after all, but my goal here is to remind you that a rich life isn't always about the external stuff We chose a different kind of wealth. If you're living within your means while slowly building the life you want, you're not behind. You're building a foundation that lasts. Stick around as we continue to turn our barndo into our dream home budget-friendly project at a time and our life #livingwithinmeans #smallerhome #barndominiumliving #newbuild #barndominium
