My theory is, people like acotar bc it went viral on booktok, those ppl like smut and that’s ok but they don’t like the author that much to be willing to read more of her work. Her other stories are amazing, and as a reader I personally want a good story/series so to me reading more is not an issue

Just leaving this here: maybe “need to read” isn’t the right thing to say. You get to read it. And if you want to move on to book 6 without crescent city that’s great. I’m just sad for the people who did so & wish they had read CC first. I want everyone to have a 10/10 reading experience 💕

I didn’t love the first book..I’m still going to read 2 and 3 before I read ACOSH.. because why wouldn’t I? Do people not enjoy reading? Why are they reading then? Sure I want to read the new one..but this just means I can wait for the paperback..or my hold at the library 😅
