6 years ago I was sitting in my dad’s basement looking like the first picture. I was insecure, getting made fun of, and had absolutely no idea what I was doing with my life. But for some reason I always knew I was going to do something with my life and I just didn’t know what. My teachers in class even asked me what I wanted to do when I was older and I never had a specific answer I just knew it was going to be impactful. One day I went on YouTube and searched something like “how to make money online.” That sent me down the biggest rabbit hole of my life. I tried a million things, failed at a lot of them, wasted time, wasted money, changed directions constantly… and eventually found trading. Fast forward years later, one of the coolest things trading has given me isn’t even the money. And when I said “I’m going to be rich” I thought it would be with money. But it’s the people. Getting to travel to different states and countries, host meetups, and meet people from completely different walks of life is something I’ll never take for granted. Rich, poor, successful, struggling… I genuinely don’t care. Almost everyone you meet has something they can teach you if you’re willing to listen. And for everyone who follows me because of trading: You might become profitable. You also might not. Trading is hard, and not everyone has the psychology, discipline, or skill for it long term. That doesn’t mean you failed at life. If trading is your thing, amazing. If it isn’t, I just hope something I’ve done inspires you to go find what IS. Start something. Learn something. Travel. Meet people. Take risks. Be willing to look stupid for a while. Because I definitely did. Looking at that first picture compared to these now is a pretty crazy reminder of how much your life can change. I’ll keep hosting more meetups this year, specifically in Chicago, Charlotte, Boston, Texas, a few in Miami, and some others I’m not sure where God is taking me but so far the journey has been enlightening #ifvgs4life
