@ayyabate: We cannot keep asking for support while refusing to practice it. Here are two perspectives to consider: Psychological perspective: Sometimes people struggle to show up because they’re in survival mode, operating from fight-or-flight and trying to regulate their own nervous systems. It doesn’t always mean they don’t care. Human perspective: Trust is built through consistency, reciprocity, and a willingness to be inconvenienced by the people we love. We cannot expect community without being willing to contribute to it. Boundaries and rest matter, but so does recognizing that humans are wired for connection. We need belonging, support, and one another. What do you think? #Psychology #HumanConnection #Community #NervousSystemRegulation #EmotionalIntelligence
