Hermione got a time turner…used it to take more classes like a nerd…told Harry and Ron…never once was like lets use it to go to the beginning and stop Voldemort before he got powerful?

I hate the power of love being what saves Harry. So every other family thats been murdered in the Wizarding World just didnt love eachother like Harry's mom loved him? Damn

They also literally have the ability to pull memories from peoples heads and rewatch them exactly as they went down… how does a wrongful imprisonment even happen?

Harry naming his child Albus Severus. I dont care what you say, Snape is a crappy person. Regardless of what we learn in Dealthy Hallows from his memories.

Why couldn't Barty Crouch Jr turn something simple into a portkey for Harry to touch? Why did he have to enchant the Triwizard Cup and go through all the trouble of making sure Harry was chosen and get through all the tournaments? Just call him into the office and have him take an enchanted sneakoscope!

Ginny being Harry's love interest. The entire series she was like an extra in the background. It should have been Luna.

the entire series is a web of poorly thought out plot points, rule of cool, and ass pulls masquerading as clever twists. everything about the universe was half-assed, from the society, economy, and magic system.

My biggest pet peeve is that Voldemort wouldn’t have returned if they didn’t have teenage wizards and witches play in a stupid tournament. Also if people have died in the tournament before why is it still a thing. These are underaged wizards

Students may bring either an owl, a cat, or a toad. Ron strolls up with a freaking rat… The entire story is toast without that rat.

so the issue with this is addressed in half blood prince. memories can be modified and because they are modified the truth serum will only make them tell the modified truth...which means if someone's memory is modified in such a way that makes them innocent veritaserum is going to get them to tell their innocent perspective even if it didnt happen.

people forget that veritaserum only forces you to tell the truth, but the truth is based on your memory, and that can be easily changed. there is also the possession of dark artifacts that can be used as counter charms to spells that would force the holder to do anything against their will. crime in hp sucks cause the bad side has magic equally as powerful as the good side
