When the dough doesnтАЩt rise, that means your yeast is no good. Other factors that prevents yeast from rising is adding water that is too hot. Water temperature needs to be between 105-110 degrees. If using active yeast, proof it in the water for 5 min. If after 5 min itтАЩs foamy, the yeast is dead. Instant yeast does not have to be proofed. Mixing salt with your yeast bath can also kill the yeast. Toss some raisins or cinnamon in there too, for something different. You need to make kolache dough, I use that to make my hotdog and hamburger buns. So much more tasty than regular white bread.

Stop it!!! Amanda! ЁЯШВЁЯШВЁЯШВ Glad you figured it out. My bread maker has two of those. One always gets stuck in the bread and the other gets stuck and it is hard to get out.

It seems to me that someone mentioned about a year ago to remove that mixer to make it easier to clean and not have a hole in the bottom of the loaf lol ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░

What was the issue though? That thing needs to spin or something during the process and it got clogged?
