@.elliemxy: i’ve seen a lot of negative conversation online since the new ACOTAR release about romantasy as a genre and the people who read it. does it really matter what we read? as long as we’re reading, who cares?! 🤍 if romantasy is helping revive the book industry, shouldn’t we be celebrating? more book sales mean more opportunities for independent bookshops to open, more books being published, and a growing reading community. no genre is better than another, and reading is such a personal thing. we all love different stories for different reasons. there are millions of books out there for ALL of us, and i think that’s something to celebrate ☺️📖 #acotar #romantasy #BookTok #ukbooktok #reading
