@cazzatime: Overall, I think there were some encouraging announcements in today's Budget, with several changes addressing issues that have needed attention for quite some time. Unlike previous Budgets, which have introduced more significant changes to the way we manage our money, this one felt more like a collection of smaller, targeted adjustments. Individually, many of these changes might not seem particularly significant. But collectively, they could make a meaningful difference to people's finances. My biggest takeaway? It feels like the government is listening to some of the frustrations people have been raising and taking steps to address them. Of course, there's still plenty more that could be done, and the real test will be whether these announcements translate into noticeable improvements to people's financial circumstances. But ultimately, a Budget doesn't need to introduce sweeping reforms to make a difference. Sometimes, addressing the smaller issues can be just as important. I've broken down some of the biggest announcements from the UK Autumn Budget 2026, explaining what they mean for your money, without all the complicated financial jargon. What did you think of the Budget? Was there anything you were hoping to see that wasn't announced? #PersonalFinance #government #money

Stop increasing the minimum wage and raise the threshold we start start paying tax instead. It’s making people lose their jobs and not be able to find jobs as businesses cannot afford it. The ones that do just raise the price of there service for us. Common sense!!

A massive disappointment is that they have gone back on the promise which is to close the gap between 18 and 21 minimum wage. They use the argument that they are following the current manifesto for so many things, but this they won’t do… and even worse the gap between what they have currently announced is wider than it was previously.
