we did the same thing, there's like 5 bins of toys in our garage that was taken (6 kids) they can earn toys back slowly whenever they help around the house as a reward kinda like shopping all over again lol

Same. When I tell my 4 year old to pick up her toys, she says…“I’m tired” “I’m to busy” “I’m not an octopus I only have 2 hands. I can’t do it all” “you are not going to help me mom?” lol she loves to watch tv, tablet, phone so I take it away until she cleans or pick up the toys with her lol I know you are no “supposed to do this” according to the “social laws of raising kids” but I don’t know what else to do
