They stick around long enough to make sure the damage they cause you is maximized. The entire goal is to hurt you so bad you chase like all the others. Treat them accordingly.

It’s absolutely true. Toward the end of our relationship, when I finally gave him the space he kept creating between us, he told me that I didn’t care about him and questioned why I didn’t chase him when he disappeared. Yet, throughout our year-and-a-half relationship, whenever he withdrew, I would reach out and look for him, only for him to push me away, become extremely cold, and act as if he didn’t care. When I started acting avoidant myself and stopped chasing him, it triggered his anger. He started looking for flaws in me and searching for problems to push me away all over again. They’re crazy. Please, don’t waste your time. You will never win with people like this, no matter what you do. They will drain you emotionally and leave your heart broken.

Thank you, can you talk more on this please, all ive got so far is he constantly watching me like crazy, we havent spoke , but the job he is in he has done me two big favours through someone else
