@rtenews: Around 200 cruise ship passengers have been left stranded and at a loss in the Cambodian port city of Sihanoukville, after the operating company announced it ran out of money. The ship’s operater, Villa Vie Residences, said it was suspending operations and disembarking its residents today, while working to find them temporary accommodation in the meantime. The Villa Vie Odyssey had been cruising the world for at least 755 days, having set off from Belfast two years ago. It was one of only a handful of cruise liners that offered passengers the opportunity to rent or buy long-term or even permanent residences on board.
