@climatedefiance: Seattle AI Week is an attempt by the tech elites of Washington State to justify the rollout of AI and data centers in the Pacific Northwest. The CTO of Applications at OpenAI, Vijaye Raji, was brought out for the opening keynote to try to spin the harms his company is doing into something desirable for our state. We wouldn't let that happen. We called him on his bullshit and made sure everyone knew that OpenAI is destroying the planet, propping up Trump's regime, and threatening the safety and well being of our communities. Activists from @climatedefiance, @oilandgasactionnetwork, @troublemakerscommunity, and @climatedefendersaction relentlessly disrupted the keynote until police were forced to drag us out. We won't let these tech elites get away with peddling their lies without a fight.
