Seekor anak macan tutul ditemukan dalam kondisi kritis tergeletak di tepi jalan dekat kawasan hutan di Kampung Pasir Menteng, Desa Panjineungan, Kecamatan Cibinong, Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat. Satwa dilindungi itu diduga kuat mati karena kelaparan. Penemuan mengejutkan itu dilaporkan oleh warga sekitar yang awalnya mengira hewan tersebut adalah kucing liar. Salah seorang saksi mata, Dian Purnama (35) mengaku mendapat informasi dari temannya yang melintas di lokasi kejadian.

Salah seorang saksi mata, Dian Purnama (35) mengaku mendapat informasi dari temannya yang melintas di lokasi kejadian. "Teman saya nelpon, bilang nemu ini. Awalnya dikira kucing atau apa gitu, nggak nyangka ternyata macan," ujar Dian saat dihubungi Kompas.com, Selasa (27/6/2026) petang. Menurut Dian, kondisi macan tutul tersebut sudah sangat lemah saat ditemukan. Napasnya terengah-engah meski warga sempat memberikan minum dan berupaya mencari pertolongan dengan memanggil manti atau tenaga kesehatan. “Enggak ada luka sama sekali. Kayaknya mungkin kelaparan, ya. Soalnya memang kurus kering begitu. Sayangnya, saat ditemukan sudah kritis seperti itu kondisinya,” ucapnya. Dian mengatakan, warga telah menguburkan bangkai macan tutul tersebut.
