I owned a boutique for 10 years and have strong opinions on chargebacks and when the proper time to use one. This falls under the appropriate circumstances. You received a product that was not as advertised and even attempted to use the product and has now caused a whole new problem with shedding. You tried to resolve with the business owner with no resolution. File one with Zelle!!

Had this SAME thing happen to me years ago from a very known hairstylist in Florida like magazine & fashion week tier famous, anyways turned out my $1200 extensions weren’t human hair but alpaca 😄 matted like crazy couldn’t brush through, couldn’t wash unless I wanted to untangle hrs after & was always frizzy

Where you messed up though is you KNEW how bad the hair was as soon as you received it. I get that you had a wedding but that was your decision to forgo an exchange/refund… It really sucks that happened! I don’t have experience in hair but do own a flooring showroom… Every now & then wrong color trim pieces come in & if the installer cuts those pieces prior to checking them against the floor, I’m not eating that cost because I could have exchanged them. You should have had them installed 😩
