@candylisaxo: I wasn't supposed to mess up the paint on a classic Ford XR3i, but here we are 😬 . Even experienced painters get paint runs, and this one appeared on the XR3i right when I thought the job was going perfectly. Rather than panic or respray the whole panel, I took a very different approach to sort out the run in the paint, and the result genuinely surprised me. If you've ever had a car painting disaster at home, or you're nervous about spraying your own car, this one is for you.

It takes a lot of time to sand it down—that’s a costly process. It’s better to just have it resprayed. Take my advice! 😎😎

use a piece of tape to pull the run flat before it dries. it will flatten out before you wet sand less sanding and no filler.
