I remember using logic and argumentative stances like him when I was 15 years old and trying to engage in power dynamics with my mom. Oh the way I would move the goal post anytime she had anything to say about anything….. on many occasions, I would bring hypothetical alien scenarios into the conversation, expecting her to take me seriously. I will not be putting her in a home when she is elderly. She deserves a curated mother-in-law suite. 😭
