I would recommend turning on your expander and using that to handle some of the noise. Put the threshold right above the background noise, then use less voice focus to clean the rest up. It will do less compression on your voice

On a Compressor instead of cranking your ratio, it’s usually better to drop the threshold so it starts engaging sooner, but I’m not sure that setting is available there. 😬 Would sound much more natural. Nice choice of mics though! 💪🏻

I have the Elgato Wave DX paired with the XLR original interface. I still struggle with background noises being picked up. Switched to XLR from the wave 3 and haven't really been that impressed with the upgrade.
