In Washington state, we have Metro Access, that could pick us from home to dialysis center and back home. They could also drive hospital, groceries etc.. for $1.75 The social worker at the dialysis center was the one who facilitate it for me. I had to apply, enterview,

that's a bad decision for the wrong reason if you don't want to do treatments because you don't want to do treatments anymore your choice you're prerogative by all means do what you do but if you're not doing treatments because of gas prices that's wrong there's even gas reimbursement that you can get as long as you're in the states you can sign up for gas reimbursement which means every time you drive to and from dialysis they send you a check every month pay for your gas or you could catch a ride for free to and from dialysis every single day that's what I do doesn't cost me a thing if you're in a wheelchair it can help you there if you have any mobility issues they can accommodate to that if not then it's just like a regular cab ride even Uber and Lyft have plans that are free for you your insurance can cover it don't give up just because of gas prices that's silly I hope you figure this out talk to your social worker and come up with the plan somebody should have told you this a long time ago have a great day
