@freyafox: How I fixed my 205+ bpm heart rate. I struggled for YEARS with an extremely high heart rate when running and exercising overall, but I found that spending time just in zone two, helped me out! ##Fitness##Running##run##gym##health

This is me! Apart from with dance workouts instead, I got a smart watch and discovered my heart would reach 210bpm😳 It scared me but I felt fine! Gone the opposite way and now haven’t exercised for months now.

I have pots for 20+ years. You’d know if you had it- dizzy standing, feeling faint, generally exhausted constantly! I also run. I’d be so much worse if I didn’t. If you didn’t have a watch you wouldn’t know it was high so I’ve learned to go with how I feel as opposed to the numbers I’m reading!

I had the same as you, was doing a lot of HIT classes. Did all the same tests as you but my cardiologist said that I was fine, that if I felt ok that my heart rate was just higher than the average. But I agree, my HR has been so much better since doing less hit

Ladies, if you run, try making your easy runs 5 mins run 1 min walk. Still go at an easy pace, but that 1 min brings the heart rate down and over time, it won’t build up that much in the run interval. In 4 weeks, I went from average 168 to 151
