How about 24 is too many. Match up would be trash. How about the best teams play regardless of conference. Ur record and who u play matter. If u play 9 conference games in the sec im sorry but ur record hold far more weight than a team not in a conference and just schedules weeks teams, u know who we talking about. Let’s say it. There are 2 conferences and then everyone else and even then one of those still ain’t as strong as the other. There will be 4 loss teams from sec in the 24 and yall gonna hate on that but honestly 4 loss team is undefeated in the other conference and would be a one loss in the other😳

Can’t help what conference you’re in necessarily but you can control your non-con schedule. Beat up on the scrubs of your conference and go get a dub against a ranked B10 or SEC school. That’ll get you in. Some teams play nothing but scrubs the entire season and still catch multiple L’s and expect to make the CFP.

first of all, I'm not a Beavers fan. Second of all, there's no way they have the depth to compete with the big cheats. they may hang in for a half but depth on the O-line and d-line is where they'd get worn down.

16 teams is all we need. All 10 conference champions and the top 6 ranked conference runner ups. No team gets more than two teams in the playoff. Period. No exceptions. Only one automatic bid per conference.
