I’ve been following you for years. I have always loved and related to your mom content. A few months after you lost Trigg, I lost my dad suddenly to suicide. I have now related to your grief content. And each day brings new emotions. But being able to find little bits of JOY is what keeps us going as grieving humans. I will never understand someone putting that down. It’s crazy to me that random strangers on the internet feel like a mother isn’t allowed to feel happiness after tragic loss. Unless you’ve lost a child, you have no idea the weight of that grief that is carried DAILY. You can carry that grief and find joy and happiness simultaneously and THATS OKAY.

People absolutely kill me because you know damn well at some point in their life they have most likely grieved someone. They know fully that you still have to live your life. You still go to work. You still take care of kids. You still talk to people. You still laugh. One second you can be dancing and the literal next you’re crying so hard that you’re throwing up and can’t see straight.
