Hair wash day routine for curly/wavy hair 💆🏻‍♀️🫧 You do NOT need to wash your hair over the side of the bathtub. Its much easier in the shower, save your back 🫡 i do this only when i have my kids home with me and cannot get in the shower. Step by step: 1. Shampoo: @Not Your Mother’s curl talk. -Shampoo twice. This is important if you dont wash every day and/or use a lot of product in your hair. I usually do only scalp first time, scalp and hair 2nd time. -the scalp scrubber is amazing. 👏🏼 -i will occasionally comb my hair when the shampoo is in to get it fully washed only bc my hair is so dense, so hard to fully clean. -do not try to push out hair washes longer than you should, this can create an unhealthy scalp. I personally think “scalp/hair training” is a myth. 2. Hair mask. -Here, i do the purple one shown in the video (every couple of weeks). Let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse out very well. -OR the @K18 Hair mask: once a month on towel dried hair. DO NOT rinse out. 3. Conditioner: NYM curl talk conditioner. -detangle with the wide tooth comb. “Squish to condish” to rinse out. -skip conditioner if you use the k18 mask. 4. Microfiber towel to dry! -dont “scrub” your hair to dry it, squeeze out the water instead. -do NOT sleep with wet hair (especially a wet scalp). A little hairplay asmr for you lol was gonna do annaudio but the sound of hairwashing is so satisfying to me.
