you can read the skill there it will say that let's say after using "this ability" they will heal (blah blah).. this scales on their atk or def or wtv for DPS Charakters you need crit stats more than for supports (usually in a 1 to 2 ratio= like 50% CR 100% CDMG) for reactions like swirl /pyro or hydro reactions (vape,melt,bloom ECT.) you need atleast some em. most characters have a certain energy cost for their burst you can see it in the burst lines. the skills can be confusing so I recommend guides
