Exactly this. And the book says we’re seen by the people who ask the deeper questions. Maybe that’s what happened on that flight. Maybe you were being seen, too, and gave the credit away before you could feel it. The rare moments are when two people do it for each other at once, each giving, each receiving, until it’s hard to say who started it.
