This ride tells a story beginning in the waiting area and ending with the end of the ride. 🥰 Every time when we are in Europapark we ride pirates of batavia a multiple times.

This is piraten in Batavia( pirates in Batavia) in the netherlands area. Got burnt down a few years ago and they had to rebuild a lot of parts of the ride, its an incredible ride, and is defenitely a competer with pirates of the caribean, you just have to try it for yourself its awesome, tje story is great because it focuses on one theme, and the story also is based (sort of) on real things that happened in europe long ago. Just a phenomenal ride, its awesome, all i gotta say

Bonus fact, the wizard in the city scène near the end is actually a likeness of Roland Mack the current owner and son of the creator Franz Mack. Which he received as a gift for his birthday.

funfact: The little boat with the name "survivers", the pirates in this boat are actualy surviving puppets/animatronic from the burned first ride.

I absolutely LOVE Europa-Park! I go there several times every year and never get tired of it. It’s honestly the best theme park ever! The attention to detail is just incredible, and the whole park is so beautiful. You can really feel the love and passion that goes into every little detail. ❤️✨

Franz Mack the creator of Europa park was actually inspired by Walt Disney's ideas to create a park for families, hence Europa park came to be. It still shows these inspirational influences today but has also created their whole own style. Piraten in Batavia in its current form tells an adventure story about Pirates in the Dutch East Indies during our (controversial) colonial era. Starting in Middelburg (i believe?) in the Netherlands and ending somewhere in the jungles of Indonesia (then the Dutch easy Indies)
