@gbiel539: Russia 🇷🇺 increases efforts to present itself as better alternative to Africa in partnership. Russian President, Vladimir Putin wastes no time in criticizing the collective West in what he describes as a long time exploitative relationship with the continent using neocolonial policies and debt traps through unfair fiscal and monetary policies. Russia offers an all new relationship where it would share its technical expertise in the industrialization efforts of the continent. He describes it as the future of global influence. As global power dynamics evolves and shifts toward the east, more and more countries are seen forging new relationships that offers alternatives to the west and increases leverage. Several African countries have expressed interest in joining the BRICS either as members or partners and this all new aspirations are growing by the day. Is Europe and the United States loosing their grip on Africa and are we increasingly seeing their influence weakened in the region?. Share your thoughts!.
