I’ve lived here for 25 years now and I’m never cold. At most you will need a light jacket. We’ve only turned on the fireplace twice and it was mostly for ambience. We hardly ever turn on the heater. Unless the temps inside falls under 65 you don’t need it imo

We are also about to hit that special time of year when we put the car heater on in the morning and the car AC on in the afternoon. AZ has a 30° difference between the daily high and low!

I always tell people we have no humidity here. The thinner air makes it feel colder. The humidity makes the air heavier so it just doesn’t feel as cold. Fellow Iowan here 🙋🏻♀️

Iowa transplant to AZ myself…..60 degrees here is totally different than 60 degrees in IA. No humidity makes it feel extra chilly. It only took me a year or 2.

I am from Iowa. I still not use to wearing what I consider winter stuff but if I go back to Iowa. i freeze. I do wear a jacket at 60. it took about 3 years
