It asks who they are and why they are calling, and their answer types itself onto your screen. Most spammers just hang up. You never said hello. Save this: Settings, Apps, Phone, Screen Unknown Callers, Ask Reason for Calling. One catch: save your real numbers first. A doctor or delivery driver who will not talk to a robot still misses you. It also pauses while you are roaming, and for a day after an emergency call. And this is not Silence: callers still get heard, through the transcript.
