Had a Verizon iPhone show up as an empty iPhone box a year ago. Verizon rep says that happens a lot. They sent a replacement and eventually refunded the original.

That’s a trade in box and these companies aren’t going halt shipments over theft. But this isn’t a case of theft that’s 10000% a trade in kit. Can’t say how I know, but I know!

I was so thankful mine was delivered from UPS than FedEx. FedEx is known historically for this.

im so happy shipping is always through UPS when it comes to verizon devices in my town. and i live in a small town and the ups hub is 20 mins away and it’s literally the same 3 drivers around town. im a mail carrier for usps so i see them out everyday.

I preordered also on the first day at EXACTLY 8:16 because the site wouldn’t update. When I finally ordered it said Oct 23 for delivery on the site but the recpt they sent to my email said Jan 25 2027. I started reading all the issues with it, and decided to cancel. Went to the site and my delivery date was moved up to Dec 1. Decided to wait but as every day passes, there’s a new issues with the phone so I cancelled and got the 18 Pro. I’m with Verizon.

I highly doubt it is AT&T and Apple. I’m sure it is FedEx. I’ve had the issue with FedEx before not Apple related. Completely different type of item. I’m sure it is just FedEx and shady delivery people. The reason he didn’t have it signed for.

They need to start shipping these phones in different packages where it does not look like it’s the release of a new phone. The label needs to have a different address because this is getting out of hand. I am so sorry you had to deal with that. I purchased mine through T-Mobile app and received it on last Friday of the release by UPS. Sad world we live in.
