@peterparkersphone: coming from worlds biggest irondad fan.. honestly if tony never recruited peter his life could’ve been SO much better… 😢 #peterparker #spidermannowayhome #spiderman #fyp #tomholland

coldhesrteddgirk :

If Tony never recruited Peter, then Peter would’ve stayed a friendly neighborhood Spiderman, but also he would’ve stayed blipped.

⋆ ℜ𝔬𝔪𝔦⸆⸉⧗࿔ :

I mean if you really think about it, Tony had to die, he couldn’t keep ruining so many civilians AND heroes’s lives

DaitakuHeliosfan3000 :

Even if Tony didn't recruit Peter he most likely would end up in the same or worse situation lesson is never be named Peter in the mcu

ilv_008🫓🕯️ :

I think he would’ve been in the same or even more danger even if he didn’t get recruited by Tony bc he was very impulsive and (as in homecoming) his sense of having to do the right thing would’ve gotten him into situations out of his control that without Tony can result in tragedy (like the ferry)

Atramentum :

The comments made me think of an au where tony and peter first met during infinity war cause peter saw the alien ship and duh the neighbourhood! Yknow

This song omg

⋆｡˚ 𝒮𝑜𝓅𝒽𝒾𝑒 ˚｡⋆ :

I can’t believe there was a time people were sure he was the worst spiderman (i live tom!)

TianTian :

Well, knowing his fate in each universe, he probably would have ended up in a similar situation, even without Tony he always chooses to be a hero, to be Spider-man, let's just say here Tony only accelerated the inevitable.

Okay so I love this!!

Busy_Biscute :

On one hand yes, Tony should’ve NEVER brought Peter into the fold BUT!! I think Peter would’ve ended up worse/dead sooner. Also he was the motivator in reversing the blip. All in all the universe wouldn’t give Peter a break 😭

✴️🕸️ aya | daniel’s gf :

caption so real but tbh knowing peter he probably would have been in the exact same danger cuz he had the home made suit 😭 conclusion, peter parker is doomed 😭

Zizi booberry :

yeah if Tony hadn't recruited him, it (maybe) wouldn't be as bad but remembering that every single Spider-man is in fact fated to go through hardships no matter which path they chose 😭

wesley (n1 peter parker fan) :

oh my god yes the caption

🕸Xian⎊ :

I agree with the caption but not at the same time. I mean, Tony only created time travel because of Peter, so in another timeline where they don't know each other but Tony has Morgan and Pepper, Peter would be death along with the rest of the world. Doomed either way😭

Aisha𓏲ּ𝄢 :

I WNANA KISS YOUR BRAIN YES THE CAPTION IS SO REAL

Your_cyan_sock :

AMAZING

lula ♡ :

i agree 100% with the caption i’m convinced at least half of the hate that mcu spidey received was due to this decision of making tony and peter closer than they are in the comics

wesley (n1 peter parker fan) :

i am so glad we are moots

SilverSword09 :

If Peter never met Tony then he would have died to the Vulture. Simple as that.

𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚎 🌱 :

while tony did grant peter guidance and gave him his suit and other tools to better perform as a hero, it's also okay to admit that tony did get him involved with avengers stuff when peter was still too young to be making those decisions. he made sure he was safe, but by being from tony's inner circle, that automatically put a huge target on his back that ended up costing him the people he loved
