I had my second baby 10 months ago and my oldest was turning 6. I was scared about losing time with my oldest and needing to be home and present for the new baby too. Slowing down a second time around was so much easier than I expected because I was able to cherish so much more. I could take my time, I knew what I was doing so things felt smooth baby wise. adjusting my oldest was the hardest but weve made it through like all mommas do. Embrace taking your time and allow things to flow or you'll make yourself miserable 💖

My hardest thing was the change that I was making for my older daughter. The day before I delivered (planned c-section) I was bawling my eyes out because her life would never be the same. My girls are 27 months apart. Wishing you all the best! Looking forward to seeing you all back in TO in the spring!

Ugh, totally get it. I only have one baby so far but you couldn’t pay me to want to do the newborn phase again - both from the baby side and postpartum side. Fkin awful. If it’s any consolation though, I am told 2 kids is easier in some ways, as you have to be there for both kids all the time. You’ve got this. Women are strong af.
