No… its caused by dht. And generics determine how sensitive your hair follicles are to dht…. Thats why dht blockers prevent balding alltogether…

DHT is responsible for hairloss, as much as I agree with fixing your thyroid function and uncooking your diet/lifestyle, if you have high dht levels you will loose hair
