@itswheelyjess: I woke up feeling like I had just enough attitude for a tidy little fight in the disability department today 😈- - I do love that emoji! Unfortunately I couldn’t quite determine if I had the emotional bandwidth to follow through or if Alan was going to have to hoist me up the shuttle stairs by my ankles. We flew into San Diego and decided to rent a car, which meant figuring out the rental car shuttle situation at the airport. Being a quadriplegic adds its own fun little element of travel chaos, so naturally we decided to multiply that by bringing our 4 year old twin boys. Buses are actually usually one of the most accessible forms of public transportation! wheelchair ramps are pretty standard on most city type buses. I’m in Chicago and every single city bus has a wheelchair ramp
