@iamadamhagaman: Every time shovel hits dirt in the Holy Land, secular history gets another quiet reminder that the Gospel isn't a collection of pious myths, it is real history grounded in real places. A 12-year-old discovering a rare ancient gemstone at a site linked to Jesus' ministry brings physical tangible context to the world of the New Testament. The earth under our feet in the Middle East continues to yield artifacts, coins, seals, and stones that align precisely with the places, times, and cultures recorded in the Bible. While modern skeptics continually try to dismiss Scripture as ancient storytelling, archaeological evidence consistently confirms the historical backdrop of Christ’s life and ministry. Yet, physical artifacts are not what save us. Jesus didn't come to leave behind precious physical gems for humanity to collect; He came to seek and save the lost. In Matthew 13:45–46, Jesus described the Kingdom of Heaven as a merchant seeking fine pearls, who, when he found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had to buy it. Archaeological discoveries confirm the ground where Jesus walked, but true wisdom recognizes that Jesus Christ Himself is the ultimate treasure above everything this world has to offer.
