Being young and working in Los Angeles in the early 2000s was a different kind of experience. Sitting in traffic on the 405, grabbing Starbucks before work, and walking into an office filled with cubicles, bulky computers, and ringing desk phones. Everyone had flip phones, business casual was the dress code, and lunch breaks meant sitting outside under the California sun. After work, you’d meet friends for happy hour, drive down palm tree-lined streets with your favorite CD playing, and dream about making it big in LA.
