@rccars.fastrccar: Actress Gabourey Sidibe Shares Her Sneaky Trick for Keeping Her Toddlers' Halloween Candy Actress Gabourey Sidibe and her husband have a clever plan for their twins' Halloween candy this year. The couple’s two-year-old twins, Cooper and Maya, are finally old enough to understand the holiday. But since the toddlers do not actually need the sweets, their parents figured out a way to keep the stash for themselves. During a recent television appearance, Sidibe revealed they use a parenting trick called the "Switch Witch." First, they let the kids collect their treats normally. Then, they tell the twins that the Switch Witch will visit them while they are sleeping. The imaginary witch supposedly takes all the candy and leaves a brand-new toy in its place. Once the kids are asleep, Sidibe and her husband simply eat the candy themselves. The actress says they ask the twins exactly what kind of gifts they want the witch to leave behind. This year, the toddlers specifically requested Spider-Man and Spider-Girl toys. When it comes to their actual costumes, Sidibe says her daughter changes her mind every single day, asking to be a cow, a cat, or a werewolf. But her son has stayed completely committed to one very unusual idea. He just wants to be a blackberry.
